Introduction

FivePD callouts are very easy to install onto your FiveM server. Just follow these simple steps and you will be set up in no time.

Getting a Callout

Callouts are most commonly found on the GTA Police Mods website. Here, you can navigate to the downloads page and select the callout you wish to add to your server.

  1. Navigate to the GPM FivePD Downloads page.
  2. Find a callout you wish to download.
  3. Register for an account. This allows you to download files from their site.
  4. Finally, download the callout you wish to use.

Please note that any callouts which you download may not be compatible with the FivePD version which you have installed. Please ensure that you check which version of FivePD you are running before downloading a callout.

Installing a Callout

Callouts can be very easy to install. Most of the time, all you need to do is drag and drop the files into your FivePD callouts directory. There are two different types of callouts that you may need to install for them to function correctly.

Method 1

This type of callout will only come with a .dll file. If you see a config.json file here, please refer to Method 2 below.

  1. Unzip the callout which you downloaded earlier.
  2. Using an SFTP browser, navigate to your FivePD resource directory.
  3. Copy the callout.dll file into the “callouts” folder.
  4. Restart your server and enjoy it.

Method 2

If your callout comes with a .dll file and a config.json file, you should follow these steps to get them working correctly.

  1. Unzip the callout file which you downloaded earlier.
  2. Using an SFTP browser, navigate to your FivePD resource directory.
  3. Ensure that you make a new folder in the “callouts” folder with the exact name of the .dll file but without the extensions. For example “CyclistOnHighway”
  4. Copy both the callout.dll file and the config.json file into this folder you have just created.
  5. If you wish, you can also change the settings of the callout such as the probability within this configuration file. However, only do this if you understand what you are doing. Most callouts have default values preset and should work by default.
  6. Restart your server and enjoy it.

Having Issues?

If you have followed the steps above correctly, your callout should be installed correctly on your server. If you are experiencing any issues, feel free to open a support ticket for assistance.
