Discord chat is a uMod plugin that will allow you to link a discord channel with the in-game chat, you will be able to answer messages from anywhere without needing to be on your rust game server!
You need to have Discord Core installed and configured in your server.
Installation (Mod Manager)
- From your Iceline Game Panel, go to the plugins tab.
- Using the search bar, search for the “Discord Chat” plugin and press the “Install Plugin” button.
- Restart your server.
Installation (Manually)
- Download the plugin directly from the page
- Go to your server game panel>Files manager.
- Go to the oxide folder>plugins and drop the file there.
- Alternatively, you can use SFTP to upload the file, your SFTP details can be found on the Settings menu of your game panel.
- Restart your server.
Initial Setup
You need to set a discord channel to display the messages, it can be done by doing the following:
- In the server files, go to the oxide folder>config
- Open the DiscordChat.json
- Change the value “Chat” on “Chat Channel name or id” with the name of the channel you’re going to use
- Reload the plugin
